Earlier Today, a team of staff and volunteers visited the Muhogoni mangrove restoration site to participate in International Mangrove Day activities at Koreni, Mkunumbi location... The event focused on educating participants about mangrove and hydrological restoration. Key partners included:The Central Government, County Government's Mangrove Department, Wetlands International, NEMA, Save Lamu, Fauna and Flora, Lamu Women Alliance, local CFAs such as Lamakofa, and a CFA champion. The event aimed to enhance awareness and collaboration in mangrove conservation efforts. Finally we were glad to open a channel in hydrating water dam in moving swiftly.
